Western Syria is home to one of humanity's earliest alphabets. This legacy lives in the farmers, teachers, and families who carry forward millennia of pluralism and intellectual openness.

They believe in freedom—the freedom to practice faith without compulsion. They do not seek to impose their way of life on any other community.

Women lead, educate, and work—raising the next generation with values of humanity. In this culture, education is the most powerful tool for survival.

These are teachers, doctors, and engineers—citizens who ask only for the right to exist, to practice their faith, and to live without fear of persecution.
